about
This piece was composed while relaxing at a local coffee shop yesterday. I couldn't go to work because there was an incident that happened at the store the day before involving a shooter, leaving one person dead and another severely wounded, going through major surgery and is in ICU at the local hospital. The suspect was luckily apprehended, but there's still some sort of investigation and, well, clean up going on at the store, and much uncertainty when we'll be re-opening. So I sat down the rest of the afternoon at the coffee shop composing this, because, at least one use for music is that it's my therapy. It's a way to let out the things that are not easily said, for music needs no voice, unless you want to write lyrics. But for now, an instrumental in A-minor is well enough. A sad, melancholy sort if piece, but yet, still not giving up hope.
